Haris Sohail suffers shoulder injury during Pakistan team's training session ahead of ODI series against New Zealand
Sources have reported that Pakistani middle-order batsman Haris Sohail sustained an injury during the national team's training session at Pindi Stadium in Rawalpindi on Wednesday. Haris, who was previously part of the national ODI squad in the last series against New Zealand in January, injured his shoulder during fielding drills when he collapsed with Shadab Khan. Following the incident, he was taken to a local hospital for scans, and his participation in the first ODI against New Zealand scheduled for April 27 will be determined based on the results of the scans.
Haris Sohail made his return to international cricket earlier this year against the same opposition, after being called back to the squad by the then-chief selector Shahid Khan Afridi. He scored 64 runs in his comeback ODI series and was included in Pakistan's plans for this year's ICC World Cup, being retained in the squad for the five-match ODI series at home, starting from tomorrow in Rawalpindi.
The squads for the series include Babar Azam (captain), Shadab Khan, Abdullah Shafique, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Haris, Haris Rauf, Haris Sohail, Ihsanullah, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Wasim, Naseem Shah, Agha Salman, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shan Masood, and Usama Mir for Pakistan, while Tom Latham (captain), Tom Blundell, Chad Bowes, Mark Chapman, Matt Henry, Ben Lister, Cole McConchie, Adam Milne, Daryl Mitchell, Jimmy Neesham, Henry Nicholls, Rachin Ravindra, Henry Shipley, Ish Sodhi, Blair Tickner, and Will Young are part of New Zealand's squad.

3 May: 3rd ODI, Karachi
5 May: 4th ODI, Karachi
